Hello there,’

I have followed your (https://rankmath.com/kb/remove-specific-word-from-permalinks/) instuction.

But not work for me.

Here’s what I do. https://prnt.sc/25xthr9

My Url – https://mydomain.com/best-mobile-phone-of-2023/

I want to remove >>>> -of-2023/
I want this – https://mydomain.com/best-mobile-phone/

So, what do I need to do?

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The rule you are looking for can only redirect the URLs from 2023/slug to /slug/. It will not remove 2023 from your permalink if it is part of the slug. If you already have the URLs without 2023 then you will have to redirect them manually.
