Hi everyone! Since switching from Yoast to Rank Math I’ve been getting more traffic and higher rankings in Google Search result page, and now I’m trying to optimize my page speed.

I just learned to read the GTMetrix waterfall results and I saw that there is a redirection from non-www to www, now I want to change from non-www to www on the result page of Google. Is there any configuration needed to be done on Rank Math or on Google Search Console?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

First of all, keep in mind URL changes can affect your rankings so it is recommended to do it just if you are 100% sure about it on live websites.

Make sure you verified in Google Search Console the website with both formats (with www and without).

After that, you will need to modify your .htaccess file. You can do it inside Rank Math.

Here is a guide to do it: https://www.ostraining.com/blog/wordpress/non-www/

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
