Redirects don’t work on staging site

    Hi there,

    We’ve had a staging site for a while, and the redirects were not working. I just updated the plugin to the latest version and when I updated, it actually deactivated the plugin. Then, once I activated the plugin, I went to check the redirects and they worked fine.

    My question is…has this problem been reported before? Did anyone else have the issue of redirects not working in staging? I need to give my client a reason as to why this was happening in the first place.

    I’m guessing that with the update, the issue got resolved. Any detailed information would be great because issues like this cause a lot of stress on our end, and my client likes to know the why to why to the why. A simple reply is not satisfactory for her.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The plugin update brought with it a few changes one of which requires that you sign into your account once again. The redirects not working may have been from some bugs in the previous release, which were fixed with the update.
