  • Hello,

We’re sorry to hear about the redirects you’re experiencing. It’s definitely frustrating when redirects are happening without being configured.

It’s good that you’ve tried deactivating the plugin to see if the redirects still exist. However, we don’t recommend deleting the plugin as a first step, as it might lead to losing your setup.

To further troubleshoot this issue, we recommend checking for other redirect plugins installed on your website and also examining your .htaccess file for any additional redirection rules that might have been set up.

You can check for other redirect plugins by navigating to your WordPress Dashboard and then to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Edit .htaccess. From there, you can review and delete any additional redirection rules causing the issue.

If the issue persists, you might also want to perform a quick conflict check on your website to identify if there’s a conflict between plugins or themes causing these redirects.

If you’re still facing issues after these steps, please open a ticket on our support forum, and our support team will assist you further.

    I hope this helps!

Hello. I don’t use any other SEO plugin. My server doesn’t work with an Htaccess file, it’s not apache. It is hosted in flywheel.

    Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you.

Can you please share the URLs of the pages where you are experiencing the redirection?

Rank Math is not the only plugin that can control the redirection of your website. Other plugins installed on your website can also cause the redirection. Hence to fix the problem, we need to identify — what causes these redirections.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, then we might need to take a closer look to the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We may need to take a closer look at the issue.

Can you also please share your website’s FTP login so we can check if there are any .htaccess settings that are contributing to this redirection behavior?

Also, since deactivating Rank Math plugin doesn’t resolve the issue, caching may also have caused this. Please clear your website caches including any server-level caching.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello, happy new year.

    Can I ask for updates?

    ??

    Hello,

We can confirm that some redirections work correctly, this further collaborates with our prediction that a caching issue is at play here.

Please reach out to your host provider to clear any server-level cache of your site.

We look forward to hearing back from you.

    Thanks
