Redirections aren’t saved

    Hi,
I realized redirections aren’t save on my website https://boutique.florianbrochard.fr
It works well on other website I manage.

It didn’t import redirections from my Redirection extension at first. Then RankMath tell me it has created a new redirection when I modify slugs. Anyway nothing appears in the redirection tab.

I try to create redirections directly from the tab and nothing is saved. Redirection is still empty.

I don’t understand why it doesn’t word on this website.

    Cheers
    Florian Brochard

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It’s possible that the tables to save redirections were not created for some reason.

In this case, please recreate the Rank Math tables by navigating to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click on the Recreate Missing Database Tables to see if that works for you.
    https://rankmath.com/kb/rank-math-status-and-tools/#recreate-missing-database-tools

Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use Easy Mode. Please follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/advanced-mode/

The issue should be resolved after that. Let us know if it doesn’t. We are here to assist.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
I try this but it does not work. What the name of the table for redirection?
It also seems 404 errors are not log either.

    Hi
I made some more research and I compare with another website. I am missing a lot’s of tables. And the button to recreate the missing ones doesn’t work.

When recreating missing tables, I get a message telling me it can take some time to do so.
Is there an alert telling if the process is complete?

    Cheers

    Hello,

It should take a few minutes to re-create the missing tables.

However, for the issues with missing redirection and 404 logs table, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & cPanel/phpMyadmin logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
