  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with redirections in Rank Math.

To investigate why there are no redirections set up for the changed attributes’ URLs, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check for Redirections Created with Rank Math:

      • If you’ve manually created redirects using Rank Math’s redirection option, ensure you haven’t accidentally created “broad redirects.” Misconfiguring redirects might lead to issues. Open the recently created redirection inside Rank Math and review its settings.
      • Here is an example of what to look for:
        More than one redirection
    2. Check .htaccess File:

      • Verify if any redirects have been set up in your .htaccess file. You can do this by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Edit .htaccess. Delete any additional redirection rules causing issues.
      • Here is an image to guide you:
        edit .htaccess

If after following these steps the issue persists, please let us know by replying to this ticket, and a human agent will assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

Please share the old and the new URLs so we can check them as well.

Meanwhile, Rank Math’s Auto Post redirect feature only applies when you change the slug of your posts/pages.

    Hello RankMath,

Is it a new possible feature to include attributes in the list of elements for which RankMath can manage auto-redirections ?

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

We may need to check the attribute URLs so we can advise accordingly.

Moreover, the auto-post redirection applies when you change the slug of your posts and pages, and not permalink changes.

    Looking forward to helping you.
