Hey!
I’m having many issues with the redirection manager since switching to RankMath from Yoast.
First, it would be very helpful to have a setting that automatically selects the box so that capitalization doesn’t matter. I brought this up on social and was told that capitalization is important for certain sites, but I would guess that’s the exception and not the rule. It is tedious to have to manually edit every redirection, especially the ones that are automatically created when I change the permalink of a post.
Second, it appears that there is no automatic redirect for links between posts that have a / on the end and those that don’t. For example, I’m getting 404 errors for looking-for-free-or-low-cost-veternary-care but not looking-for-free-or-low-cost-veternary-care/ . Having an automatic setting for that would be very helpful so that I don’t have to manually add 1,000+ redirects.
I have lost a significant amount of traffic due to these issues and I am also getting crawler errors in AdSense because of them. I’m very concerned about this. I really like RankMath and I don’t want to have to switch back to Yoast but redirects are very important to me.
