Redirection not working

I have multiple re-directions set up. The old format of our website used a sub-folder format we no longer use.

I have used ‘contains’ to capture the old format but all redirects go directly to the default 404 page, no redirect works at all. I’ve tried ‘exact’ with the full old URL, enabling the ‘Ignore Case’ option, none of it matters. When I use the debugger mode, it goes directly to the 404 page as well.

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with the redirections on your website. It seems that despite setting up multiple redirects to capture the old sub-folder format, all redirects are leading to the default 404 page, and none of them are working as expected.

Based on the information provided, it appears that you have tried different methods like using ‘contains’ and ‘exact’ with the full old URL, as well as enabling the ‘Ignore Case’ option, but none of them are working. Even when using the debugger mode, the redirects still lead to the 404 page.

To assist you further with this issue, I recommend checking the following:

    1. Ensure that there are no conflicting redirection rules that might be overriding the ones you have set up.
    2. Verify that the source and destination URLs are correctly configured without any typos or errors.
    3. Double-check if there are any caching plugins or server-side caching that might be interfering with the redirections.

If the issue persists after checking the above points, please assign this ticket to a human agent using the available buttons so that we can investigate the problem further and provide you with a solution.

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. We will do our best to help you resolve the redirection issue promptly.

    Best regards.
