When you enabled the redirection debugger, did you see the interstitial before the redirect actually happened? The interstitial is only visible for a few seconds, so it’s important to manually stop the redirect from taking place during that time.
If you didn’t see the interstitial even after enabling the debugger, it might be the reason why the debugging didn’t work as expected.
