    Hello, when I activate Rank Math, I do get my cuisine category page broke. It redirects to listings guidelines. Please, check this out for me if you have time.

    2. I saw %customterm(texanomy-name)% among the metadata. if I change the texanomy name to Location, will that make the location variable based on the customers location? Thank you

    Hi,

    Sorry for the issue you are facing.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

    Please let me know if you find the culprit.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    For the second one, the variable pulls your listing’s location value and shows it in the place where you use it.

    Hello Todd, I am using the current version of all all plugins and theme except wp bakery which I don’t have the update yet. I have diagnosed it and it only happen when I activate rank math.

    1. I have been able to replicate your issue. The category redirection seems to happen if the option to strip category base is enabled under Rank math > General settings > Links.
    I have forwarded your issue to the dev team to dig further.

    2. Since you have location as a custom taxonomy term, that should work. If you have any issues using it, please let us know so we can help.

    Hello,

    You seem to be using a custom base for the URL and that one also contains the word category.

    In such cases, the strip category base may not work so it is best that you keep that option disabled.

    Hello, thanks for the reply. The problem is still there even when I switch the stripe category off. Basically, that is not the cause. I have had it on and off and still could not fix the problem. Thank you

    I logged in the website and after making sure Rank Math was using the last version (1.0.44.1) I enabled the Strip category option and tried the website where you were having issues but as you can see in the screencast I have attached in the Sensitive Data section, I haven’t been able to replicate it. Could you check it?

    Hello, thanks for the help. For you to better understand the problem, please try it in incognito mode on mobile and on desktop. On mobile in incognito mode, it redirects to listing guidelines and on desktop, the page breaks down by increasing the margin hence making it small in the middle.

    After enabling the WP_DEBUG on your site, the following error was logged in the debug.log file which was breaking the Cusine page:

    To fix it, I added a condition to check if the $term_link is a wp_error in wp-content/themes/listingpro/listing-loop.php on line 316: https://pastebin.com/TLTTyZEd

    It looks like this code was conflicting with the Rank Math’s schema data which uses wp loop on taxonomy pages to get the post details. Please forward this code to the ListingPro team so they can add this to their theme.

    Hello, thanks for the support. Does this mean that it will only work if they add it? Is there no way I can add it to my child theme and get it working?

    They hardly update and even if I send them this, I am not sure when they will do it and besides, I am the only one having this issue as far as I can tell. I raised it on the Facebook group and Rankmath seems to be working well for most people.
