Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
Yes, you can easily do that by adding a regex redirection on your installation. The final redirection will depend on the structure of the dates you have currently.
Could you please tell us the structure so we can provide you with the redirection settings to achieve this?
Looking forward to helping you.
Hello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
If you want to include the word blog
before the permalink uses these settings:
Source URLs: /blog/([0-9]{4})/([0-9]{2})/([0-9]{2})/(.+)
Type: Regex
Destination URL: https://yourdomain.com/blog/$4
In case you don’t want the word blog
use the following settings:
Source URLs: /blog/([0-9]{4})/([0-9]{2})/([0-9]{2})/(.+)
Type: Regex
Destination URL: https://yourdomain.com/$4
Hope this helps achieve the desired results.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Miguel,
Thanks for this!
So, dumb question … when you say “adding a regex redirection on your installation” … where do we apply this?
Best,
Brian
Hello,
Thank you for the follow-up.
The regex option will show when you click the dropdown box beside the Source URL which shows Exact
as a default.
