    Rank Math free

Hello, on my site here (using schema and RankMath)

    https://www.tuttosullapostaelettronica.it/blog/posta-elettronica/

    I have this permalink structure

    postname

but I think that for SEO purposes it’s better to have a structure like this one

    /%category%/%postname%/

Problem is, if I change the permalink structure, how to create an htaccess rule (or RankMath) to automatically redirect all the traffic to the new URL.

I’ve seen Yoast’s Redirects Generator but it does convert others permalink to the /%postname%/ one.

Can you help me sort out an htaccess rule to convert from /%postname%/ to /%category%/%postname%/ ?

    Thank you very much!

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Here is a PHP solution that works to redirect all the links after the permalink change.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
