Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
The best way would be using the technique you say: to export from the old domain and import it to the new one. After that, just enable the Rank Math’s 404 Monitor and if you see any broken link, you can create a 301 Redirection using the Redirections module to the right post.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Thank you, ALberto. So just to be clear. I upload rank math to the old domain, export the links, go to the new domain (with rank math) and upload the files?
Hi again. The upload of rank math to the old domain seems to cause trouble. I get the following error message: : openssl_decrypt(): IV passed is only 7 bytes long, cipher expects an IV of precisely 16 bytes, padding with \0 in

Update – deactivating an reactivating the plugin solved above issue. I have now imported the links, but I don’t see them anywhere, and the old domain remains with no redirects. I really need you help on this.
Hello,
What do you mean with export the links? Usually, when you do a migration like that you use a migration plugin and it manages for you all the URL changes.
I recommend you to check (and maybe follow) this guide: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-properly-move-wordpress-to-a-new-domain-without-losing-seo/
Looking forward to help you.
