RankMath using wrong search console site

  • Hi,

I installed RankMath for the first time. Looks impressive, lean and very helpful!

I authorized google search console and the correct site was chosen. Great!
Unfortunately, the search analysis tab of the search console menu item obviously uses a different site out of the search console. I am unsure if the same goes for the other tabs, but the search keywords only match another site in my console. For sure 😉

  • Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    did so…

in the search-console config I set beautyform.de as the search console profile to use, but the dashboard for the search console defenitely uses data from another profile in my google account…

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I have cleared the Rank Math cache and fetched new data from Rank Math > General Settings page. Could you please check if the right data is being read now?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

I tried that on the main site and yes, that helped.
Nevertheless I have the feeling that’s a bug, as I just installed RankMath and set the correct site instantly.

    Thanks a lot, regards

I am glad that you were able to resolve this 🙂
We will be performing some more edge case tests on this to establish if there is really a bug that could be causing this.

Don’t hesitate to contact us for any additional questions, comments or suggestions. Thank you.
