  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The sitemap is not generated by Rank Math, it looks like there is a sitemap file in the root directory or some other plugin is generating the sitemap.

If you are using any other sitemap plugin, please disable that.

If you are not using any other plugin, please remove the sitemap files from the website’s root directory. Once you delete the file, Rank Math will generate the sitemap.

Once the Rank Math sitemap is active, clear your website cache and resubmit the sitemap in the Search Console.

    Hope this helps.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

I don’t have sitemap in my root directory and also don’t have any plugin for that.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

You have only added the cPanel login details. We would also need your WordPress login details to check this further.

We look forward to helping you.

You can access the WordPress from cPanel and please provide the update soon

This seems to be a heavy caching for your sitemaps.

If you visit this non-cached version for your sitemap, you should see that it is now working. https://tattootrends.co.in/sitemap_index.xml?1

Kindly check if you have other caching services on your server that might be causing the issue.

Looking forward to helping you with this on.

How to solve this caching problem

You can add this filter to exclude the sitemaps from caching:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:

Once done, clear your website cache and check the sitemap.

    Hope this helps.

We look forward to helping you.
