Hi there…

Need your help. I use the Rankmath plugin, and I’m using the Power word and the focus keyword in the SEO title, but I’m still getting a red mark which means I haven’t used any.
Like, if my title is How to install WordPress Locally?
Focus Keyword is “install WordPress locally” Now when I’m changing it to “Best Way to Install WordPress Locally” You can see that I’m using the Power word which is “Best” but I’m not getting a green mark in my RankMath SEO score.

Similarly, one of my posts has the title “WordPress vs Blogger – Which is Better?”
Focus Keyword is “WordPress vs Blogger” and it is at the beginning of the SEO title but I’m still getting a red mark which means I haven’t used the focus keyword in the SEO title.

Can you guys please guide me about this? Is it some problem from my side or the plugin is not updating it? Or the problem is something else?

Kindly help me out with this ASAP.

Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

This should not be the case if you are working on the usual WordPress editor either on Guternburg or classic editor.

In any case, you are using another page builder, it is possible that it is not compatible with the Rank Math’s content analysis API which is something that should be checked from the backend.

May you let us know if this is the case? What page builder are you using if so?

Thanks for the reply.

I’m using Elementor Pro page builder. But the SEO options only appear on the WordPress classic editor.

Rank Math is compatible with Elementor.

The SEO options should be visible when you edit the page with Elementor.

If the SEO tab is not available in Elementor editor, it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

Thanks for replying
Just checked the SEO tab and it is giving me some better results like from 44 to 53 with the same keyword.
But, still, I’m not sure that why the score is not exceeding 85 or 90 even I’m using the exact same focus keyword in my title and moreover it is at the beginning of the title but the errors that I haven’t used the focus keyword in my title and also the focus keyword is not at the beginning of the SEO title.

It is making me sick.
Kindly guide me through this.

Hello,

Thank you for keeping in touch with us and we deeply apologize for the unexpected delay.

I just test a couple of Power words (example: Free) in your post and it seems to be working but, to make the test pass, you need to insert the Power Word into the snippet title. Please see this video screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/0xT2Pl

Make sure to check any other posts and you’re not manually editing the snippet otherwise you need to make the changes in two places.

As for the scoring issue, it seems you are scoring very well here. You are scoring 80 and above in both classic/gutenberg and Elementor editor.

Do note that these tests are just guidelines and one does not need to follow them religiously.

At the end of the day, the content needs to be written for the readers and not for the search engines.

Scoring higher points in Rank Math’s tests won’t guarantee higher rankings.

Thank you soo much for the response.
I saw the video and I understand that issue. But what about the other issue that is I’m using the focus keyword in my title even at the beginning of the title but it still shows the red mark on both the options.
How can I fix this?

It seems like you accidentally marked this ticket as Resolved. If a ticket is marked Resolved, then we lose access to the sensitive data section (containing your website logins).

I’ve removed the Resolved status from the ticket.

The issue is resolved. Thank you soo much for your assistance.
BTW, can you please tell me that How much time will the affiliate approval takes? AS it is more than 15 days that I have applied for the affiliate but still the account is pending.
