rankmath score in ‘post’ varies from ‘all post list’ score

#697261
  • Issues:

    1. rankmath score in ‘post’ varies from ‘all post list’ score
    – this doesnt happen immediately, but if we check after few days everything is not matching
    – on day of making post, post score and all post list score will match, then a week later it wont
    – super confusing to work on SEO like this ,and really hard to monitor if we have to manually check our 144 posts at a regular basis

    2. most importantly: When making a new post we have a given result and score, BUT that changes completely after some days
    – so on day of making a post say the keywords are green and few yellow, score is say 85
    – a few days later, everything changes: keywords may become red or yellow, score will dramatically change
    – so you can imagine our confusion – there is no guarantee that what rankmath feedback we have got on the day of making a post will remain the same 2 days later

    unable to therefore,
    – feel confident in how we follow ranthmath guidance during post making
    – unable to rely on at-a-glace ‘all post list’ score either
    – basically we are wasting lots fo time constantly redoing old post SEOs though manual checks again and again!

    please help and advise,
the ticket question is sort of getting ignored by the team, perhaps they dont know why this is happening either?

  • Hello,

We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience you are experiencing with the Rank Math SEO scores. We understand that it can be frustrating to see discrepancies between the scores in the post editor and the all post list.

The issue you are facing with the SEO scores not matching between the post editor and the all post list is something we can help you with. This could be due to various reasons such as changes in the scoring algorithm or other factors affecting the SEO scores over time.

To address this issue, we recommend using the “Recalculate Scores” option in Rank Math. This tool will recalculate the SEO scores for your published posts where the focus keyword is set. Here’s how you can use it:

    1. Go to your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Navigate to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Tools.
    3. Click on the “Recalculate Scores” option.
    4. A new popup will open, and Rank Math will start recalculating the SEO Scores for your published posts where the focus keyword is set.

    Recalculate SEO Scores

Please note that this process may take some time depending on the number of posts on your website. We recommend keeping the browser open until the process ends.

Once done, you should see a success message indicating that the recalculation of SEO scores is complete.

    Recalculating SEO Scores is complete

By using this tool, you can ensure that the SEO scores are up to date and accurately reflect the current state of your posts.

We hope this helps resolve the discrepancies you are experiencing with the SEO scores. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to ask. We’re here to help!

    Hello,

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

Could you please confirm if you’re using a page builder on your site? If so, please share the name of the theme/page builder so we can check.

Meanwhile, if you’re using a page builder like Elementor, please note that you should always rely on the score from inside Elementor’s visual builder because when you are in the default WordPress editor, some shortcodes are not readable from Elementor and the discrepancy can happen.

The correct score is the one shown in Elementor and you will have to update the post in the Elementor editor to save the correct score.

Let us know how this goes.

So basically we are using Avada Theme which have own page builder called Avada Fusion but we are not created post using this page builder, we are creating post by default with using avada elements, columns and sections.

    We have these issues
Issue 1 – we done the tool recalculate seo score but it does not fix the score on all post list and inside the post
Issue 2 – All post score is different from all individuals posts
Issue 3 – if we make a post or edit existing post and we make focus keyword green and other keywords are greens as well and some are orange which means good but after fews days or a week the others keywords are becoming red so what was the issue

    Hello,

or open any random post you can see different in scores

    Hello,

We logged in to your site using the provided access details in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

Upon checking with the health check plugin we were able to identify the culprit of this issue.

We have investigated that the Avada Builder plugin is not working in Sync with the Rank Math Content Analysis.

Could you please contact the Avada Builder plugin support team and tell them that the scores are read accurately when the plugin is disabled.

This way they will be able to include the content from the builder to the Content Analysis API as well.

We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

First, after using the database tool to recalculate SEO Scores, you need to resave your posts again to get the updated scores

Second, we noticed that you’re using the Avada builder on the backend to create some of your posts (the one we checked). As we explained in our previous reply about Elementor, some of the elements in these builders are not easy to read outside of the builder. That’s why you may see different scores in the post editor and the all post list. The score that matters is the one inside the builder, as that reflects the actual content of your post.

We hope this clarifies the situation and helps you improve your SEO scores. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know. We’re always happy to help!

    thanks for clarification
please provide the documentation of CONTENT ANALYSIS API INTEGRATION link
as you know we have created so many post so now on which score we are depends to optimize our post and how much it accurate

    Hello,

You can share the following guide with Avada: https://rankmath.com/kb/content-analysis-api/

The correct score is the one you see in the post editor. Our plugin might not be able to read the content properly from the Avada elements, but as long as you are following the suggestions, you content will be optimized and the search engines will be able to detect that.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thanks for clarification
So here is one more issue – if we create a Post and the score is 90 and keywords are green but after somedays the scores comes down and keywords becomes red.

So for that we have created a new post and take a current screenshot of score and keywords if some days later score come down and keywords becomes red I will share the link and screenshots so investigate the issue meanwhile you can keep this ticket open

    Thanks Sir

    Hello,

If the post you are referring to was created with Avada and the fluctuating score is happening on the All Post page, then there’d be very little we can do.

As we explained before, content in some page builders is complicated to read outside of the builder, especially for page builders that are not integrated with our Content Analysis API. So, in this case, you will have to use the score inside the builder to judge.

If the post you are referring to is not created with a page builder, then please share it with us when it goes down.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation

I will explain again and i am talking about inside post scores not all post list score we will ignore the all post list score , we will see only inside post score

So here is one more issue – if we create a Post and the score is 90 inside the post and keywords are green but after somedays the scores comes down in inside the post and keywords becomes red.

So for that we have created a new post and take a current screenshot of score inside the post and keywords if some days later score come down and keywords becomes red I will share the link and screenshots so investigate the issue meanwhile you can keep this ticket open

    Thanks Sir
