I need your help. Hoping that you can help me with my Site using the Geo Directory plugin. Here is my issue. This directory site plugin allows me to add business listings. Geo Directory has applied schema settings to those business listings but RankMath, when activated on those pages disables that schema even when I have it set to none in Rank Math settings.

What I would like to do is to have Rankmath still provide the Meta Title and Meta Description and other options but if I could turn off the Schema in Rankmath so that it won’t override the plugin settings. Is that possible

I added login to the private area. Pleaes advise. Thanks.

    Hi Charlie,

    Thank you for your patience.

You can disable the Rich Snippets easily from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard.
    rich snippets disable

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    1. Todd, If I disable Rich Snippets then I miss out on all of the good stuff for my main site pages and posts and I sure hate to do that. I don’t’ want to disable the schema on all my pages. The Geo Directory plugin doesn’t add schema to the posts and pages.

I would like to still use RankMath schema on my main pages but use the schema from Geo Directory on the Directory listings.

Also I was hoping to use the Rankmath SEO meta on the directory pages if that is also possible, but I can fall back to the GeoDirectory seo meta if not.

    2. I noticed that Canonical’s are not showing on my pages. Can you help me get that sorted? do I need to make a new support ticket for that?

note: I was able to get the canonicals working

    Hello,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

I’m glad that you were able to resolve the issue with the canonical tags. As for the schema, I’m afraid there is currently no option to disable it based on specific post types.

I’m going to pass this as a feature request for the developer’s consideration.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
