I can see in the screencast, that the content length test is working fine. Earlier the total length of the content was 1057 words and when you added the other word, the content length changed to 1058 words.
Could you please share the URL of the post in the screencast so that we can further investigate the issue?

Oh yeah that was one word, you’re correct I checked again and the word counter is working
But did you see that the Focus Keyword was not being counted neither it was being counted in the headings
can you kindly explain why that is happening

After reviewing the shared screencast, I can see that the content is updating. However, for other metrics, it should show after updating the content.
It might be possible that your page builder theme is getting into conflict. Please cross-check it while changing the theme or at the default WP editor.
For your assurance, you can use an extension of Chrome with the name ‘META SEO inspector.’ It would be helpful to analyze all the metrics of on-page SEO.
