  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are still facing issues with Rank Math not updating keyword changes. If you have waited for a few days and the problem persists, it might not be related to your location.

To troubleshoot this further, you can check if Google Search Console is reporting any data for the keywords you are trying to update in Rank Math. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Go to Google Search Console.
    2. Click on Performance.
    3. Filter by Query and enter the keyword you are trying to update.
    4. Check if Google Search Console is reporting any data for that specific keyword.

If Google Search Console is not showing any data for the keyword, Rank Math might not be able to update it as well. This could be one of the reasons why your keyword changes are not reflecting in Rank Math.

If the issue persists after checking Google Search Console, please feel free to reply here, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

While saving the keyword, please keep the browser console open in the “Network” tab and see what the status code of the following route: https://www.yourdomain.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta?_locale=user

You can find the browser console in your browser following this guide: https://balsamiq.com/support/faqs/browserconsole/

If it’s returning any other value than a 200, there’s something wrong with the route and we would request you to get in touch with your hosting provider to make sure that REST APIs are not getting blocked.

However, if it returns 200, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
