Rankmath not identifying heading tags and text

    Rank Math free

    Hello

I just installed Rankmath for SEO. Facing some specific issues with it:

    1. It doesn’t detect H2, H3 etc headings defined by the theme. I need to go and manually select H2 tags from the text editor.
    2. How do I make a table of contents? I would imagine this has to do with the heading tags not being recognised.
    3. It’s not detecting the article length accurately. Actual word count right now is 400 words. But it’s detecting 800 words.

Could you propose a solution? Have I set it up incorrectly? Have attached screenshots.

It is likely you have set up everything correctly but unfortunately some of the elements added using WP Bakery cannot be read by Rank Math.

We have added API access to the content analysis in the Rank Math plugin to make content from page builder plugins readable by Rank Math.

You would need to contact the developer of the plugin you mentioned by showing the following link:

Many known companies have already added the compatibility, as it takes a few hours:

    2. How do I make a table of contents? I would imagine this has to do with the heading tags not being recognized.

You can add a Table of content to your page/post by simply installing a table of contents plugin. You can create it manually but then you would have to add some code for it to be analysed(I wouldn’t recommend).

I hope that helps. Please let us know if there’s anything else you need our assistance with. More than happy to help.

    Thank you.
