rankmath load time slow?

    I was just trying to speed up my website and checked (using p3 profiler) which plugins take most time and resource. Rankmath came at the top. It alone added nearly 0.6 seconds to the load time, which was 54% of the total plugin load time. So the other 21 plugins active on my website all together add 0.5 seconds, whereas rankmath alone ads 0.6 secs.
    Have you guys checked your code and queries for optimisation. I have used yoast in the past and it was not so resource hungry.

    This is quite unexpected, Yoast SEO plugin’s code is almost 1.5x larger than ours and all our tests contradict your results since our plugin makes fewer requests.
    I can suggest that you eliminate some of the non-essential plugins that you have installed since the number is quite high and perform the tests with a fewer plugins and one of the stock WP themes.
