    Hello,
on my live site, the RankMath FAQ Schema works fine, but after creating a staging site, I get “This block contains unexpected or invalid content” messages for the Schema blocks and in the front end, things are weird and messed up

Any idea what’s going on here?

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you are facing with the RankMath FAQ Schema on your staging site. It seems like you are encountering “This block contains unexpected or invalid content” messages for the Schema blocks, and the front end is displaying things in a weird and messed up way.

Based on the provided screenshots, it looks like there might be a compatibility issue or a conflict with the RankMath FAQ Schema on your staging site. To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Plugin and Theme Compatibility: Ensure that all plugins and themes on your staging site are up to date and compatible with RankMath.

    2. Disable Other Plugins: Temporarily deactivate other plugins on your staging site to see if any of them are conflicting with RankMath.

    3. Switch to Default Theme: Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One to check if the issue is related to your current theme.

    4. Clear Cache: Clear any caching plugins or server-side caches that might be affecting the display of the FAQ Schema.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. We will do our best to help you resolve this issue.

    Best regards.

Unfortunately, there is no plugin or theme conflict. Again, on my live site, everything looks fine; it’s only on the staging that things are messed up.

Nevertheless, I deactivated all other plugins except RankMath and even switched to the standard 2024 theme, but the problem was still there.

Before I send you the sensitive login data: Have you ever come across this issue before, and is there any way the creation of a staging site could have negatively impacted the RankMath FAQ blocks?

    Hello,

Ensure that you are using the updated version of our plugins on your staging site.

We are unable to replicate the issue on our end and this is not a known issue. There must be a reason the issue is happening on your website, and that is what we need to discover to offer the right solution.

Please share the login to the staging site so we can check

We look forward to hearing back from you.

    Thank you.
