    Hi, my website hayleykimhallphotography.com does not display a galery at the bottom of the homepage when rankmath is enabled, and also it displays server error 500 when I try to update or save pages. I have read all your support articles, but no joy.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that this issue might have caused.

    please check the PHP values of your site by going to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Server. These values affect the performance of your site and they should be set according to the following recommendations:

    PHP Memory Limit: 512M
    Max input time: 150
    PHP time limit: 120
    PHP max input variables: 1000

    If any of these values are lower than the recommended ones, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase them for you

    Please also check that the PHP version of your sites is upgraded to at least PHP 8.0 because anything below that has reached its end of life: https://www.php.net/supported-versions.php.

    You can follow this guideline to upgrade your PHP version: https://rankmath.com/kb/this-plugin-does-not-work-with-your-version-of-php/#how-to-upgrade-php-version/. Alternatively, you can ask your host to do the upgrade for you.

    If none of the above suggestions work you can share the server error log with us for us to investigate further. You can reach out to your host provider to help you with the server error log if you do not know how to access it.

    Having an error log will help us determine what is causing the server error on your website.

    You can trigger the error again so the log will be updated. You can use this tool https://pastebin.com to share the log.

    Let us know how this goes. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

    Thank you.

    Hi – These are the settings I have in my php.ini file:

    safe_mode=false;
    upload_max_filesize=128M;
    post_max_size=128M;
    memory_limit=512M;
    zend_extension=opcache.so;
    opcache.enable=1;
    opcache.memory_consumption=64;
    opcache.interned_strings_buffer=8;
    opcache.max_accelerated_files=5000;
    opcache.revalidate_freq=180;
    opcache.fast_shutdown=0;
    opcache.enable_cli=0;
    opcache.revalidate_path=0;
    opcache.validate_timestamps=2;
    opcache.max_file_size=0;
    opcache.file_cache=/kunden/homepages/38/d836686001/htdocs/.opcache;
    opcache.file_cache_only=1;

    And I also see the following settings in the wp-config.php file:
    */
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );
    set_time_limit(900);
    define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’);
    /* Add any custom values between this line and the “stop editing” line. */
    /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */
    /** Absolute path to the WordPress directory. */
    if ( ! defined( ‘ABSPATH’ ) ) {
    define( ‘ABSPATH’, __DIR__ . ‘/’ );
    }
    /** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */
    require_once ABSPATH . ‘wp-settings.php’;

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

    We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    5xx errors are usually caused due to server misconfiguration or other server issues.

    Can you please share the website error log with us? Having the error log file will give a clear idea of why this might be happening upon updating your pages.

    You may also get in touch with your web host for assistance to retrieve the error log.

    Looking forward to helping you.
