Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
The problem is arising from using the %seo_description% variable as the default meta description value on the Titles & Meta page. This variable is generated from the meta description and thus this should be used on other areas of your site such as the schema description.
I have replaced this variable with %excerpt% and this seems to have fixed it.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Great guys, thank you so much. I was hoping I wasn’t going to have to get rid of my favorite SEO plugin. I’ll pass along the information to both Thrive Themes and Namecheap in case it arises again.
I believe that may have happened because I was trying to edit the rich snippet and it wouldn’t let me. I opened a ticket about it before this one.
Please let me know
Hi there,
Thanks for the follow up.
I am glad that this is now resolved 🙂
I have checked the rich snippet options but I cannot replicate the issue mentioned. Please let me know if you are still experiencing the issue.
Thank you.
Hi Michael,
Yeah, I am still experiencing the rich snippet issue. I open the editor but I cannot select anything or changing any text. It is the same post as was have the issue.
Thanks
Ken
PS. I may be offline for a few hours if you find anything
