    On Jan 29 & 30, 2021 our web site pictures were almost completely scrubbed from Google search results which still exists to this day.
    (See Attachment Jan 29-30 Google Search Decline graph)
    We have been trying to figure out what happened.
    We have determined on the day our images disappeared on Google’s search results, Jan 29-30 2021, we received 2 security alerts from Google for Rank Math accessing my Google Account.

    We have also discovered on Jan 29th, Rank Math made alterations to our website.

    Something happened on Jan 29, 2021 to our images displaying on Google’s search results and this happens to be the exact same time Rank Math accessed and did something to the site.
    We would like to identify what happened and more importantly fix it.

    If you search “4th Bowl Revelation” on Duck Duck Go 13 of our pictures appear out of the top 20 positions. (see screen shot insert or attachment)
    This is how we use to rank on google but something has changed?

    I took one of our most popular pictures which was removed from google and did a google URL re-inspection for that picture. It did appear back on Google’s search a couple of days later.

    I can check that the images of your site are already indexed in Google Image Search: https://i.rankmath.com/puPEAx

    You are not seeing the images in the image results because they are not ranking for that keyword in Google and other sites are ranking higher than yours. You can check the images using the site:https://revelationscriptures.com.

    Hello,

    Can you please share the URL of some images that have disappeared from the SERPs? Also, you are not using Rank Math’s sitemap on the site. We have an option to include the images in your sitemap so Google can easily discover them while your current sitemap doesn’t include the image URLs.

    And when we access your GSC and GA account, we only do that to fetch the data from the API to show you the stats in our analytics module. Our plugin doesn’t do anything with the indexing of your site and there is no way it can remove the images from the SERPs using the access you have provided.

    Hello,

    The results will always differ between Search Engines as the algorithms are different from each other and each has its own rules to identify relevant content for the search query of the users.

    We cannot compare the results of two different search engines and immediately conclude that something is definitely wrong with the website indexation or ranking.

    One good example of the differences is that Google is showing the same exact picture you have on your website but coming from Pinterest, which is a domain with high authority, and as such it’s likely to rank before most websites.

    The search from Duck Duck Go doesn’t show that which seems to indicate that they use a different metric to display relevant pictures to the users.

    Also, regarding the Analytics data, it seems like when you linked the Rank Math account you linked to a new property judging by the different tracking codes in the pictures, and as such it’s normal to see differences in traffic because of that change.

    If you want to get a better comparison of the days, check the Google Search Console data from January 29th as that doesn’t rely on tracking codes.
