I rollback to 5.4.2, that´s all fine. This is a worst case. The editor has issues, rank math plugin was complete gone. The theme has issues. This is incredible to make a update and the whole thing is not working. The best is if I changed the password for the user (for you to login to the dashboard) that comes a critical error. This is cool or not. With the version 5.4.2 it´s all ok. This is incredible. And on the support site of Wp there are the same issues reported.

Same issue here. Next time a new WP version comes out, I’ll wait at least a week before updating.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins, themes and WordPress (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Thanks, after updating other plugins, everything seems to be working fine.
I am currently experiencing the same thing. I have updated both my plugins and themes, and I have also deactivated all of them except Rank Math and it’s still the same thing.

I did nothing, luckily I received a message from Softaculous to update script in c panel. It solved the issue. I updated the script and boom! it was there.
