Rank Math SEO Title and meta not seen on Google Search Results. I have updated the SEO Title and Meta desc. but don’t see them flowing to Google Search Results. I tried to disable the server cache as mentioned in one of your tickets from wp-config.php – I located this file in cPanel but didn’t find the cache option there. According to GoDaddy (hosting and domain provider), I can disable the server cache from there only.
Please help me figuring out the issue. I have already spent hours in troubleshooting this and read and implemented almost all your ticket resolutions including using the site health troubleshooter. There is no conflicts in Theme and plugins I’m using.

Please also give advice on Sitemap. I feel that it is not complete using Rank Math.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

I have updated the sensitive data section.
Added to my query on SEO Title and Meta description, I would also request you to check the Sitemap. Please tell which Sitemap should I use for my complete website and is the sitemap generated from that is complete as per the information given via settings in Rank Math.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

It seems you forgot to add the link to your site. Please do so and let us know so we can look into the issue further.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I have checked your site and you haven’t connected your site to the search console yet. You can follow this link to learn more on Search console: https://rankmath.com/kb/search-console/

Your Sitemap is not missing anything. It only reflects what you have in your site: in this case, you only have one page which reflects perfectly on your sitemap.

    Hope this helps. Thank you.

    Thanks for your reply.
    Below are my queries:
    1. Sitemap shows up in Rank Math Sitemaps
    i) Under items column in Sitemap of Rank Math, it says 1 page and 30 images but infront of both of them, it says 0 indexed. Why is that? Does it mean that my sitemap is not indexed in Google search console? How to we do this ASAP?
ii) Which sitemap should I upload in Google Search Console – should it be Index.xml or pages.xml? Because from Rank Math we generate multiple sitemaps so need to make sure which one to upload in Google Search Console. Currently I have index.xml in Google Search Console.
    2. Where are we on my query on Rank Math SEO –
    i) Title and Meta desc of Rank Math are not showing in Google Search Results? Please respond ASAP on this.

    Thanks for your timely help!

    Hi,
pls respond to my previous query on SEO and Meta generated from Rank Math not showing in Google search results.
Do look to my original query which has the full description of what I’m looking for and I’ve done already in Rank Math settings and my hosting provider.

    Hi Animesh,

Can you please check when the Google cache was updated for that page?
    1. https://i.rankmath.com/9q6X0H
    2. https://i.rankmath.com/R8N0Uh

If the cache date is from before adding the new meta description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with the new info. If the date is after you made the changes, the next step is to check if your title/description is properly set up in the page source:
    3. https://i.rankmath.com/HwXR1o

You can use this tool for the same as well: https://www.heymeta.com/

If it matches your settings, there is nothing else you can do as Google shows the title/description tag according to the search intent.

The best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

You can read more about it here
    https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35624?hl=en

This section sheds light on that:

“Why the search result title might differ from the page’s tag” </p> <p>Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.

    Hi Todd,
    Thanks for your response.
I see Google has cached my site today itself which is later than when I had updated my title and meta.
Also, I do see in page source view that title and meta are updated.
Can you also please inspect my site (site details already provided in sensitive info) and let me know if I need any correction there?
I do see that meta property is appearing multiple times on the source page (not sure if that is annoying Google).
Also, the text and separators in Title and Meta, pls check if they are appropriate.
    Let me know. Thanks Again!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Everything seems to be configured correctly on your site. Please note that all of the multiple meta tags have a unique task and this should not cause any worry.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hi,
I get this error in Google Search Console for my site.

“We were unable to read your Sitemap. It may contain an entry we are unable to recognize. Please validate your Sitemap before resubmitting.
    Examples
    Line 1”

Looks to be parsing error. Any idea how do we fix this now? This error was not there before? Shall I generate a new sitemap from Rank Math and resubmit it in Google Search Console?
Also, since everything from the SEO perspective looks good, why my site is not showing Title and Meta generated by Rank Math? Using Yoast I was successfully able to see the Title and Meta showing properly in Google search results.

    Please help.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

The error suggests that your sitemap is getting cached on your site. Please ensure that you add an exception on your sitemap file to disable caching for this file to ensure that these errors do not occur in future.

I’ve just logged in to your site and it looks like you deactivated and deleted Rank Math on your site which could be affecting crawling of your site content and the missing meta descriptions.

I have gone ahead and installed and activated the plugin for you.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Thanks for your response. I had deleted the Rank Math due to conflicts with my sitemap which I had generated by myself through other tool and with Rank Math I had issues for which the resolution and response to queries were almost a day for every query raised.

Please do not reactivate the plugin without asking me on my website.

Thanks for all the help provided. I like Rank Math but just due to conflicts with other plugins I am leaving it for now. I may come back to it later. Thanks Again!
