That is meant only for posts/pages. It won’t work on product pages as it is not needed on product pages.

That is weird. This is a page and this is what I see:

It is listed under Product Schema (which I need for the page as it has products of ours on it – I manually set up the schema markup for products on our previous Weebly site for this page, and the other pages, and they all passed validation, so it must be possible to apply schema markup). There is no option to deselect or leave blank:

Since you are assigning the product schema on your CPT you can skip the addition of the shortcode on the product page and ensure that the location is set to Custom (use shortcode)

Hi Michael, thank you for that. I will do set it to custom then and not add to the page. Is it possible to set up details for more than 1 product per page? It doesn’t seem like it with the current setup. Something along the lines of what I had done manually on our pre-WordPress site eg:
