Hello,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Can you please share some of the affected URLs that are working with the redirections that you are creating?
And for the sitemap issue, this error suggests that there must be some white spaces before the XML Sitemap’s source code.
This might be added by a blank line/space in your wp-config.php
file or your theme’s functions.php
file. If there is no such blank space in your wp-config.php
or functions.php
file, check for a plugin conflict using this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts
Also, make sure your cache is disabled as it is highly likely that the cache is interfering with the working of Sitemap functionality of Rank Math.

Looking forward to helping you.
Please do I need to worry since I get a 200 response in the network tab but the page shows an error for the sitemap URL. Also, will this affect the google bot from crawling my website? When I check the status of my URLs I get success 200 ok.
Hello,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
We have fixed the sitemap issue by deleting the closing PHP tag from the functions.php
file of your child theme.
Since this file is fully in PHP the closing tag should be removed.
Regarding the redirection, the issue is that you have an attachment with exactly the same URL, and the redirect attachments option was enabled on your website.
After disabling that option the redirection works as expected.
Hope this helps provide clarity into the situation.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Thank you so much, everything now works correctly.
