We have some posts where the Rank Math configuration options do not appear. In some it does appear and in others it doesn’t.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Is the issue on posts of the same post type or on posts in a different post type?

If the meta box is not displayed in a specific post type, ensure that the Add SEO Controls option is enabled at Rank Math > Titles & Meta > [Your Post Type] > Enable Add SEO Controls
    controls

Do note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in the Rank Math dashboard:

If the issue persists, then assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

We really look forward to helping you.

We have done the checks you mention, but the problem persists:

As you can see from these images, the problem occurs in blog posts. The default WordPress posts. In some cases the SEO controls of the post are seen and in others they are not.

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I checked your site and was able to replicate the issue. This error is being logged while in the browser’s console while editing your affected post:
    null

That error message is related to a corrupt entry for schema on some pages on your database. Did you try to change the schema directly from the database?

In your database find the wp_postmeta table and look for entries with a meta key of rank_math_schema_, if you find any that are empty you can delete those entries to get rid of the error.

If you don’t feel confident enough doing this yourself, please provide us with cPanel/phpMyAdmin login credentials and we’ll do it for you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested.

I have shared what is closest to hand, since I have no knowledge of MySql

    Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I went ahead and deleted that corrupted schema from your database by installing the PHPMyAdmin plugin, and the SEO Controls are now loading correctly as you can see in my screenshot below:

    schema

After that, I deleted the PHPMyAdmin plugin.

Can you please check from your end?

    Looking forward to helping you.

Hello thank you very much. Indeed, in that entry the problem has been solved. However, it is not a problem exclusive to that entry, the problem occurs in other entries as well, randomly. That is, there are many other entries where the problem is still present.

    Hello,

In this case, you may also need to delete the corrupted schemas to those posts via your PHPMyAdmin.

Could you please let us know if you have done a database cleanup for your website? Database cleanup sometimes affects the data that has been stored in your database and this might be the case for your current issue.

With that said, you may refer to the video screencast I shared in the sensitive data section on how to locate the schema entry in database. Just ensure to find the rank_math_schema* meta key and delete it. Also, make sure you have conducted a database backup before touching the database.

If you are still hesitant to touch the database on your end, you may share all the URLs of the affected posts here so we can remove the corrupted schema.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Perfect. Thanks a lot.

    Hello,

If you have any questions in the future, please feel free to create a new forum topic, and it will be our pleasure to assist you again.

    Thank you.
