    Hi

    I am using Rank Math and not sure why the number of pages indexed is totally off. For example, I only have 18 pages, but if you go site:domain.com it will show 50+ indexed. if you go site:www.domain.com, it will show 100 pages indexed when my site..

    I have shared some screenshot in sensitive data for you to understand the problem better.

    I have checked the affected posts and they have been set to index. Can you confirm that you have submitted the Rank Math sitemap on the search console? ie http://www.domain.com/sitemap_index.xml ?

    Yes.

    I have submitted the sitemap in GSC before this.

    What happen is this:
    1. I submit sitemap to XML
    2. Import Products with plugin
    3. Removed unwanted products to trash
    4. Double checked on Google if those unwanted products are indexed. (Not indexed)
    5. In GSC, it is showing 100+ products are in sitemap. screenshot shared previously.
    6. Even though I have removed those products to trash, it is still slowly indexing those 404 product pages few days later.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    Since these products had already been saved on the Google cache, it will take some time to be removed from the SERP. You can however ask Google to remove the outdated data by following these steps:

    Hi.

    I already removed those product pages before google even have time to indexed it.

    It is now indexing pages that are removed days ago.
