In WPML >> Settings >> Translation of custom fields, rank_math_permalink key was set to translate which was causing problem. I checked Do Not Translate option there and that seemed to have fixed the issue. Can you please confirm?
On live site too, please do the same. Check Do not translate and reactivate the Rank Math plugin. That should fix the issue.
