  • Hi,

    Rank Math does not generate sitemap for Buddypress.

    I have tried to clean the cache, buddypress module is activated, permalinks and sitemap are updated and rank math deactivated and activated. Nothing has worked.

    Google Search console shows to:

    https://…….com/members – Page Fetch Failed: Redirect error.
    https://…….com/activity/ – Submitted and Indexed – but nothing comes out from google

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    1. Please flush your sitemap cache in the Rank Math settings by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    That should fix the issue. Please let me know if that does not. We are here to assist.

    I have done it all with our hosting team help and also this one and still nothing helps. Rank Math does not generate sitemaps for BuddyPress and bbpress:

    Since you are using NGINX, add this code to your NGINX configuration file if your Sitemap pages are not loading or you can ask your hosting support to add it.
    Hide

    # START Nginx Rewrites for Rank Math Sitemaps
    rewrite ^/sitemap_index.xml$ /index.php?sitemap=1 last;
    rewrite ^/([^/]+?)-sitemap([0-9]+)?.xml$ /index.php?sitemap=$1&sitemap_n=$2 last;
    # END Nginx Rewrites for Rank Math Sitemaps

    _________

    Hello,

    Thank you for keeping in touch.

    May I ask if you have successfully added that NGINX code to your NGINX configuration file?

    Also, we might need to take a closer look at your admin settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    And Activity and Members page show – Page not found once in a while, when I refresh after third time start showing again the correct name and then again Page Not Found….

    Hello,

    Thank you for keeping in touch with us.

    Upon checking your admin, I tested out the /members and /activity pages and it doesn’t seem to return any 404 on my end. I temporarily enabled Rank Math to test this out.

    I also noticed that in your sitemap settings you are using a very high value for the Links Per Sitemap found in Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > General. Please enter a recommended value for that settings up to a maximum of 1000. You may refer to this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/configure-sitemaps/#links-per-sitemap

    After that, resubmit your sitemap to google and see if the issue goes away after a couple of days.

    Let me know how it goes. We are looking forward to helping you.
