rank math content score

  • Hello,

I would like to give me some more clarifications regarding rank math function.

    1. For a targeted keyword at a blog post (exercise motivation) rank math suggest its use 18 times. On the other hand surfer SEO for the same post and the same keyword suggest its use 1-2 times. I understand that rank math and surfer may have compared different competitors in this case, however the gap between 1-2 vs 18 is big.
    Could you explain that?

    2. Rank math content AI suggest the use of 4 keywords in the post. On the other hand, surfer SEO takes into account 80 different words – kewwords for assesing the post.
So, again, the difference is big. How important is the use of many specific words or it is sufficient the use of some critical?

    Thank you!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with the Content AI tool.

It is difficult for us to comment on the differences between surfer SEO and Rank Math suggestions as we do not know how Surfer SEO generates its suggestions. However, I have shared your query with one of our developers so they can look into the suggestions generated for the keyword “exercise motivation” and check if they are generated correctly.

We’ll let you know our findings once we’re done testing the keyword.

    Looking forward to helping you.

I checked this, and the recommendations given by the Content AI for the “exercise motivation” keyword do seem to show some unusual numbers. I have taken note of this, we will investigate it, and if needed, we will make the necessary changes in our API endpoints. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Regarding the number of keywords suggested, in most cases Rank Math recommends a number of less important keywords in the “Related keywords” section, which you can also make use of while writing your content.

    Hope that helps.
