    Hi

    I have added the breadcrumbs script into my theme using Code Snippets but it come back with an error. it keeps saying unexpected function.

    the code I am pasting in is <?php if (function_exists(‘rank_math_the_breadcrumbs’)) rank_math_the_breadcrumbs(); ?>

    but it won’t accept the code it just comes up with an error. I also tried the short code with the same problem.

    the Theme I am using is Pressbook Grid Blog which is a child theme to PressBook. I am not a coder and I don’t understand how codes work but I would appreciate your help.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    The code needs to be added to the header.php file of the child theme.

    Please add the code at the bottom of the header.php file of the child theme by going to Appearance > Theme editor, then clear the website cache and check the breadcrumbs.
