this did not work. I uninstalled an re-installed Rankmath, tried to connect and it still says ‘Connect Account’ in WordPress. Every time I try to connect, I get logged out.

I logged into your website’s admin area and I was able to replicate the issue. Upon connecting the website to the Rank Math account, the user is logged out.
Please check with your web host if the ModSecurity feature is enabled on your server as it is possible that it blocks the connection of your website to your Rank Math account. If yes, please disable it and see if that fixes the issue.
Also, I’ve checked your site’s configuration, and there are some values that are too low and which you should increase. You can get in touch with your web host and ask them to set the following values:
PHP Memory Limit: 512M
PHP time limit: 120
