    Rank Math free

    Hi,

I am an GST-registered sole proprietor from India interested in buying Rankmath Pro. However, I see that the payments can be made only in USD. Further, GST in not charged on the payment. I don’t think this is correct. Ideally, the payments should be made in INR and GST should be charged against my GST number. Kindly let me know your take on this.

    Thanks,
    Vikram Narsaria

  • Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience you are facing. When purchasing Rank Math PRO, the applicable taxes, including GST, are automatically applied during the checkout process based on location and product type. The taxes are collected, filed, and remitted by FastSpring, our global full-service SaaS payments platform.

If you are considered exempt from paying taxes, you can claim a refund after completing your purchase. This can be done by contacting FastSpring’s consumer support through this form.

Additionally, you can add your VAT identification number during the checkout process to ensure that the correct taxes are applied. If you encounter any issues with this process, please disable any Proxy or VPN service on your computer and ensure that the correct region and country are selected during checkout.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with obtaining a GST refund, please feel free to reach out to our support team.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    Hi,

GST rate on SAAS products in India is 18%. Aren’t you supposed to charge GST from your Indian customers and take the payments in INR. I just want to be sure on the tax front as I am from India and am GST registered.

    Thanks,
    Vikram

    Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

We have partnered with FastSpring and they take care of payments for us.

In addition to that, we do not have any control over that as that is charged by your government.

You can read more about the same here:

If you have a valid tax ID (VAT, GST, etc.), then please get in touch with FastSpring (our payment processor) to get a refund on your taxes:

    Hope that helps.
