Product sitemap isn't working proparly

    Hi,

    I just noticed that several of our new pages weren’t indexed after a week, so I went to check what causes it. It seems that the sitemap didn’t update when we added the new products.

    In addition, we used to divide the product sitemap to parts of 200 links each and the first part didn’t work so I changed the number of products in a product sitemap to 1k, which refreshed the sitemap but now the only product sitemap doesn’t work at all… I get “The site is experiencing technical difficulties.” error when trying to access it.

    How do I refresh sitemap?
    Why didn’t the sitemap refreshed automatically?
    How can I keep track of the sitemap? Should I check it every time I upload new product? Should I index the pages manually in Google Search Console?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Could you please do the following:

    1. Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

    Hit the save button once.

    2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings

    Hit the save button once.

    That should fix the issue.

    If it doesn’t, please do let us know so we can look at this further.

    It solved most of the issues but attachments sitemaps returns 404.

    Thanks for getting back to us.

    For the last issue, could you please head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Media and check whether the Media Robots Meta has been set to noindex as shown below:

    If this is the case, please set this option to “index”
