Product category doesn’t appear in product title

    Hey together,

    I’m amazed by RankMath, especially after switching to it coming from Yoast – so much for starters :).

    I got one problem and can’t seem to find a solution.

    I want the product category to appear in the title.

    Right now I got %title% %page% %sep% %sitename% – this works fine (side question – is the %page& tag of any use with normal products?).

    If I add %category% or %categories% it displays sample category in the title, when setting it up in the general settings, but even though I ticked one category as primary with each product, it doesn’t show the category in the title.

    Do I do something wrong or is that a known issue?

    Hello,

    The %page% tag can be used on the archive and paginated posts pages. To show Category title in the product please use %customterm(product_cat)% tag.
