I’m using a RankMathSeo sitemap, which currently includes 29 pages, all marked for indexing.
Google Search Console (GSC) recognizes the sitemap and acknowledges its 29 pages. However, in the indexing section of GSC, only 25 pages are listed as indexed, with none pending.
When I manually submit an URL from the non-indexed pages for inspection, it gets indexed correctly. Even before requesting indexing, simply submitting the URL shows that it’s in the sitemap I’ve sent.

Hello,
I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with your sitemap. It seems that Google Search Console is recognizing your sitemap and acknowledging the pages, but not all of them are being indexed.
The status “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap” in Google Search Console indicates that Google has indexed these URLs on your website, but it has not found these URLs through the submitted XML sitemap. This can happen due to various reasons, such as custom canonicals, exclusion from sitemap settings, or issues with the robots.txt file.
To address this issue, you can start by checking if there are any custom canonicals set for the pages that are not being indexed. Additionally, ensure that the pages are not excluded from the sitemap settings.
If you’ve already checked these settings and everything seems to be in order, you may want to resubmit your sitemap in Google Search Console. You can do this by removing your sitemap from Google Search Console and then submitting it again.
If the issue persists after resubmitting the sitemap, it’s possible that there might be other factors affecting the indexing of these pages. In such cases, I recommend checking for any plugin conflicts using the Health Check plugin and ensuring that there are no unintended rules in your robots.txt file.
I hope this helps resolve the issue. If you have any further questions or need assistance with any of these steps, please feel free to reach out.

Hello,
From your screenshot, we can see that a bulk of those pages not indexed were due to redirects, if you manually submit a URL for indexing and it gets indexed, then it could be that the previous conditions that made Google not index the page are no longer true, i.e. the page no longer redirects, but Google hasn’t yet recrawled your sitemap. So submitting the URL manually would get it indexed in this case.
If this is the case, you can simply wait for Google to recrawl your sitemap/pages to see the new page details and decide which to index, this problem should resolve itself. But if you suspect this is a different issue, you can share an example of the URL that has not been indexed and we can help take a look.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation
Hi, thank you for you answer
That is not the case, I created the redirects for two pages that I changed the URL
The redirect URLs are these:https://manwithhair.com/mastering-minoxidil/

http://www.manwithhair.com/In the “Tracked: Currently unindexed” section there is another url, but it is for files, it is this specific URL: https://manwithhair.com/2023/10/20/
The fact is that those redirects and that tracked url are not the problem.
I’ll give you an example, this URL: https://manwithhair.com/change-now-treatment-for-alopecia-in-males/
Post published 5 days ago, Google GSC does not detect it as “Tracked pending indexing” or as “Discovered pending indexing”
However, if I try to add the url manually, this appears:

The problem is that if I don’t do it manually, Google GSC does not detect them on its own to index, that is really the problem.

Hello,
Please note that the status Discovered – currently not indexed indicates Google has discovered the page, and even wants to crawl the page. But this was expected to cause an overload on the site, hence Google has rescheduled the crawl.
As a result, Google may delay this crawl for several days after it has been discovered, and the crawl status would remain empty until then.
