Problems with connecting to GA4

    Hi!

    When I am trying to connect RankMath to my Google Analytics 4 account I get this message: “nysajt.npu.nu says Request had insufficient authentication scopes.” (See picture)

    What do I do wrong?

    When I am connected to GA Universal I do not have the option to connect to GA 4. Is that correct? Is it supposed to be like that (see picture)?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    When the UA property is connected, you need to reconnect to your Google account to connect with the GA4 property.

    Please login to your website in an incognito window in Chrome, and head over to Rank Math > General settings > Analytics and reconnect with Google, give all the permissions, and configure the settings.

    It still doesn´t work. Id followed your instruction and at RankMath/General Settings/Analytics it looks fine. But I still get no data. Not at RankMath/Analytics nor in the report I got today:
    “Uh-oh
    It seems that there are no stats to show right now.
    If you can see the site data in your Search Console and Analytics accounts, but not here, then try reconnecting your account and make sure that the correct properties are selected in the Analytics Settings.

    But there is data in my Google Analytics Account.

    Also, note that in the Free version the data in the Analytics module is coming only from Google Search Console and not from Google Analytics.

    Aha! I thought it came from Google Analytics. So that is the problem, probably?

    That’s not the problem. Even if we don’t fetch the data from analytics, you should still receive the data from the GSC account in the email reports. Please follow the steps to fetch the data manually mentioned in the guide shared by my colleague and once the data is in the Analytics dashboard, you will receive it in the next email report.
