Problème de Meta description sur l’ensemble de mon site internet

One common reason for Google not displaying the set meta description is that search engines sometimes choose to show a different description based on the search query and user intent. It’s also possible that Google hasn’t re-crawled and re-indexed your pages with the updated meta descriptions.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can follow these steps:

1. Check if Google has picked up on the changes by viewing the cached version of your page. You can do this by searching for your site on Google, clicking on the small arrow next to the domain, and then selecting “Cached” to view the cache date.

   

2. If the cache date is from before adding the new meta description, you may need to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index your pages with the updated meta information.

3. Understand that Google may choose to display a different meta description based on various factors like relevance, quality, and search intent.

We checked your website and can see that the correct meta title and description that was set in Rank Math for the homepage is shown, while a different meta title and description is shown for the contact page when you search the page on Google using the site: operator as shown below:

Please note that even when everything is set up correctly, Google may choose to display a different meta title and description for search query results as seen with the results for the Homepage and Contact page.

Google may skip the custom metadata you have set and instead display something from the page’s content that better matches the search intent. What to show in search results is solely determined by Google.

Also, Google has made some changes to their algorithm which automatically changes the titles, discarding the one you have set in your SEO title meta tag.
