Problem with Pages built with Divi

#55515
  • Hi, I use RankMath on my wordpress and I’m also using the Divi builder.
When I try to add some SEO to my pages built with Divi (Homepage, about us, woocommerce shop page, etc).
I’ve found a outdated post (1 year ago) where you talk about an API which will detect content on Divi pages. Is this API available now ?
It would be very frustating for me to not be able to add some SEO to my pages, because I’ve already a lot of work on my products in terms of SEO and it would be a lost of time if it’s not possible to handle SEO on Divi built pages.

    Looking for your answer.

    Have a nice day

  • Anyone to help me please ?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

The API is already available as outlined here, however, I recommend that you reach out to the Divi team so that they can include this in their product to be able to support RankMath out of the box.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Hi Michael and thanks for your answer.

I’m going to following your instructions and I’m contacting now the Divi Support team.

I keep you updated when I got an answer from them.
==> I’ve got the update from Divi support team and they say to me that the feature isn’t already available and I’ve to wait further updated of the Divi theme to solve the problem… Here i stheir full answer to me : “This feature is under development and should be available in one of the future updates. Unfortunately, there is no ETA that I can provide at this time. ”
So only thing for me is waiting. Thanks for your help btw.

I’ve been using RankMath yesterday by adding some Meta infos to my Woocommerce categories, brands, and so on. Strangely enough, when I do a search on a search engine, some meta description and title are not the ones I configured via RankMath. Is this normal? Maybe it takes some time for crawlers to update this SEO information?

    Waiting for your reply.

    Have a nice day. Aurian

    Hello,

Yes, it might be Google didn’t crawl it yet. You can check if Google has seen the changes already or not. You can do it like this:
    a.

    b.

If the cache date is from before adding the new meta description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with the new info. If the date is after you made the changes,

Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

The best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

You can read more about it here

This section sheds light on that:

Why the search result title might differ from the page's <title> tag

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
