Problem with meta description in archive

    Hello, the titles, keyword and meta description are not saved on the page archives: categories, tags and custom taxonomies. What can I do?

    Thanks for getting in touch. We are extremely sorry about that.

    I checked the first category you have and the meta description and titles are working fine:

    And here it is in the source code for that category page:

    I found the same thing with the tags and custom taxonomies as well (I checked Airport one)

    If you could share the name or URL of the particular taxonomy where you are seeing this – we would be in a better position.

    Hi, I went to the site and it worked this morning. Now the problem is back. is very strange.

    It has not even taken the meta description inserted in the basic settings of the Titles & meta plugin. As you can see on the image, it inserts all the text contained in the description.

    This could suggest that there is another plugin that is affecting the functionality of Rank Math on your site. You can mentioned a “Titles & meta plugin”, is this a third party plugin or you are referring to our settings page?

    Hello Luigi,

    It seems as though the error is only in the preview. If you check the actual meta description of that category, it is set correctly as per your preference in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Categories:
    meta desc.

    Can you please confirm if that is the case with you as well?
