Problem with canonical

Good afternoon. I started using your plugin and I am very happy about it. I’m waiting for you to release the paid PRO version. There is one problem, maybe you can help me solve it. I have a page that is generated by the Premmerce Product Filter for WooCommerce plugin. It uses Category + Brand (Woocomerce attribute). And on this page Rank Math puts incorrect canonicals. The page itself (example) – w-secret.com/product-category/komplekty-nizhnego-belija/attribute-brand-weiyesi/. On this page, the canonical tag should be self-referenced, but it links to the main category.

Tell me, is it possible to set your canonical tag for certain URLs or just disable it?

  • Hello

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

You can definitely disable the Canonical URLs but we do not recommend that.

Looking at your pages, removing the Canonical URLs, or marking them as self-reference would make them indexed in Google.

If you want to remove the Canonical URLs, you can use the following filter:

    Looking forward to helping you.

Thanks for the reply, but I don’t want to disable the canonical url. I want to change it on some pages, is it possible? I do not quite understand the wordpress hooks

    Hello,

Yes, you should be able to change the Canonical URLs. Here’s a screencast:
