Problem disconnecting google analytics from rank math

    Hi,
    a few days ago I had to disconnect my google analytics account from rank math (unfortunately google analytics seems to become “illegal” here in Italy). So to avoid problems, I preferred to disconnect the google analytics account from my site. To do this, I simply took away rank math’s access permissions to my google analytics account.
    However, I noticed that rank math continues to give me updated “Analytics” on my site’s bulletin board.
    Is this normal? How can I be sure that google analytics is no longer connected to the site via rank math?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support.

    Please reconnect your Google account from your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics, and configure only the Search Console setting and not the Analytics settings:
    reconnect

    Once you’ll reconnect and configure the Search Console settings, the data would be fetched only from your Google Search Console account and Google Analytics would remain disconnected.

    I did as you recommended. So the data that I’m continuing to receive is now coming from Google Search Console and not Google Analytics, right?

    Hello,

    Yes, upon reconnecting your account, ensure that you have configured the permission for Google Search Console only.
