Hello,
Thanks for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.
Please edit the Meta Description of the post to change the description in the social section. You may have a look at this screencast for a quick reference: https://i.rankmath.com/TmWMf0
Please let us know how that goes.
Thanks.
Hi,
Thank you for the reply. But that doesn’t change/update anything. When I look at the source, I still see the old (previous) meta description in the source at the “application/ld+json” class=”rank-math-schema” line. Somehow that doesn’t update.
Hello,
Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.
The meta description for your social snippet is in these lines:
Which can be updated here:
The “application/ld+json” class=”rank-math-schema”
line is for your schema. Please make sure that you have already updated the description in the preview snippet editor and cleared your website cache.
If the issue still persists, please also share the affected URL to further check. You can add it in the sensitive data section
It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.
I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
Hello,
Thank you for getting back to us.
Upon checking your page I noticed that it is using Yoast for its schema.
However in case you want to display the review snippet in the live site on the frontend you can do so via the shortcode of the schema or simply choose which section to display it. Here is a schema showing that: https://i.rankmath.com/8ubs7i
Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
