  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I tried checking the affected page in LinkedIn’s Post Inspector and it seems to be showing the correct image as you can see in this screenshot:

Could you please try to clear your website cache including any server-level caching software you have and try sharing the page again?

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you with this one.

Thank you for your quick answer! Somehow the correct image is not shown in the LinkedIn private message box, but does show correcly in the post inspector. But the title is still not showing as correct, it just shows the page name and not the written name in the rankmath.

    Hello,

I looked at the source code of the URL and noticed a different og:title.

To troubleshoot this issue, please follow the steps from our Knowledge Base article here:

    https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-data-not-saving/

Please let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you further.

    Thank you

Hello, I looked through everything and no errors and no plugin conflicts that I found. What else could I do?

    Hello,

In this case, please clear your website’s cache and check again in LinkedIn.

Also, please note that LinkedIn prioritizes the oEmbed code instead of the OpenGraph meta tags, that’s why your OpenGraph is not being used when sharing:

    oembed

For a workaround, you can add this in the last line of your active theme’s functions.php file, and this will remove links on your site:

    remove_action( 'wp_head', 'wp_oembed_add_discovery_links', 10 );

Please do take a complete backup of your website before applying any filter on your site.

Once done, clear your website’s cache and check again using the inspector tool.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
