    Hello dear team,
    Whenever I share a page on LinkedIn, either no thumbnail or one from the page appears. The posts always show the correct thumbnail. How can I change the preview image for LinkedIn under “Social”? When I post on Facebook everything is fine.
    I have already tried via Global Meta etc. but it does not happen. Please help, I am getting desperate.

    I’ve checked your page, and it seems that you have duplicate meta tags. Upon investigation, they are possibly coming from this plugin:
    https://www.blog2social.com

    Please check the screenshot added in the sensitive data section for your reference.

    Thank you very much for your quick reply!
    I first installed blog2social to see if I could fix the link preview problem. Unfortunately, that didn’t work either.
    You say that I now have duplicate metatags? I have now deactivated blog2social again, but the problem still exists.

    I checked your posts with LinkedIn’s post inspector and both of the posts that you have shared are showing the correct image in the link preview. Please check the screenshot that I have attached in the sensitive data section.

    Please clear your site & browser’s cache and check again.

    I can’t believe it, but suddenly LinkedIn shows the thumbnail for me too.
    Surely this can’t have anything to do with the installation and subsequent uninstallation of social2blog?

    Hello,

    Since the issue has been resolved after you disable the social2blog plugin, the duplicate og tags added by that plugin must have been the reason for the issue.
